Introduction

Aeterna IaC Foundry generates Terraform and OpenTofu modules for every resource of each provider we support, straight from the provider’s own schema. Every input, validation rule and output comes from the provider, so a module covers the whole resource rather than the parts someone needed once.

Two editions

The code is the same in both. The Private edition is a service: we deliver what you choose into your own organisation, keep it current, and keep every version you have used.

Three kinds of artifact

• Modules create and manage one kind of resource, such as azurerm_storage_account.
• Lookups read existing resources through the provider’s data sources, such as an existing resource group or every subnet in a network.
• Packages combine a resource with the resources that belong to it, such as a storage account with its containers, queues and network rules, behind one input. Packages are part of the Private edition. See Packages.

Providers

We support azurerm, aws, azuread, azapi, msgraph, github, cloudflare and stripe. The catalogue lists every public module and lookup with its newest public version.
